The mission of St. Michael School is to partner with parents
in educating the whole child.
Just a generation ago, when Catholic schools were
staffed primarily by those in the religious order,
providing a Catholic education for children was
rarely a financial decision for parents.
Today, our school is staffed entirely with lay
personnel. The result of this demographic
shift is that nearly 80% of our annual operating
budget is allocated for salaries and benefits ~ and
our exceptional staff accepts their call and mission
to educate in our Catholic school at a lesser rate
than they could earn in the public school system.
The costs to operate a school are significant.
These costs must be covered by Parish contribution,
donations, and tuition. For many parents,
giving their children the enduring gift of a
Catholic education comes at great financial
sacrifice. However, the success of our
fundraising efforts and charitable contributions
have a significant impact the tuition rates we must
charge.
Whether you are a member of St. Michael Parish, an
alumni of our school, or someone who shares our
commitment to the importance of providing Catholic

Annual Appeal
With the goal of providing excellent spiritual,
educational, and cultural experiences to St. Michael
School students, the Annual Appeal funds specific
programs each year and makes it possible to undertake
strategic investments in our school staff, facilities,
equipment, and technology. Specific investment targets
